We’re all about neat variations on the classic recipes in the craft beer world these days. But sometimes, you just have to get back to the basics. That’s what we’ve got here from one of our local breweries, and it will definitely be in our fridge from here on out plenty.

East Regiment Beer Company opened about a year ago in downtown Salem, MA (a dream come true for foot traffic in the fall). In the last year they’ve expanded their beer menu with some seasonal staples, including a pumpkin Dunkelweizen and a sour strawberry Berliner Weisse. But SHAT (Single Hop Ale Trial) is their classic hazy NEIPA made with Vic Secret hops that’s characterized by a hazy hoppiness with a super smooth and full-bodied flavor. This is the one you’ll want to grab if you’re looking for an exceptionally well-made hazy IPA that hits all the right notes. It’s incredibly tasty. We’re excited to have this brewery so close by!
