Beer of the Week 6/21: Squishy Kitty
Updated: Oct 5, 2020
Beer: Squishy Kitty
Type: New England IPA
ABV: 7.2%
Brewer: Fegley’s Brew Works
Location: Bethlehem, PA

Fegley’s Squishy Kitty NEIPA is fermented with grapefruit, but don’t get it confused. This is no Grapefruit IPA you may be used to seeing from some other brewers, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t damn refreshing and perfect when combined with a nice summer day. Squishy Kitty is dry hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, Amarillo and Mosaic hops, and fermented with grapefruit and milk sugar that provides an amazing complex fruity taste. The grapefruit really shines, especially in the aftertaste, but does nothing to diminish the hoppy characteristics of this IPA. With the first official day of summer upon us, pick up this ultimate craft beer fan’s citrus bomb.
